Medical Acupuncture

Dry needling is the westernised approach to acupuncture. It is used to reduce muscle tension in myofascial trigger points ‘knots’ and is a useful tool when used alongside other techniques.

The solid needles are considerably smaller than a hollow injection needle and rarely cause much pain. Research has shown that dry needling can reduce pain and improve patient recovery.
